DHL building two Vegas logistics hubs

DHL Building Two Las Vegas Logistics Hubs

DHL Supply Chain will build two facilities, which will total about 800,000 square feet. DHL Supply Chain is a contract logistics provider in North America providing air, road, ocean, and rail freight services. The company will construct the distribution centers in North Las Vegas. They are expected to generate $57.7 million in tax revenue over ten years and require 500 workers.

The Governor’s Office of Economic Development has approved $1.7 million in tax abatements for the project. DHL is expected to invest $20.4 million in capital equipment in the first two years of operation and generate over $57.7 million in tax revenue over the 10-year abatement period.

It’s expected that one of the distribution centers will be 450,000 square feet and the other will be 350,000 square feet. They anticipate construction will be complete by late 2025.
