DHL Breaks Ground on 755K-SF Ohio Development
DHL Supply Chain, the contract logistics and part of DHL Group, is expanding its footprint with a new, 755,000-square-foot distribution center in Violet Township, Ohio. The distribution center, which will be located near DHL Supply Chain’s U.S. headquarters in Westerville, Ohio, is anticipated to open in Q2 2024 and create approximately 200 jobs for the region.
This addition brings DHL’s total footprint to more than 15 million square feet in its home state and more than 161 million square feet in North America in total.
The Violet Township facility will leverage the latest robotics technology and automation processes and will be tailored to the customer’s unique operational requirements. In addition to prioritizing digitalization investments, this facility will lead the industry in sustainable building planning and construction.
DHL Supply Chain’s expansion of its warehousing footprint is being led by DHL Real Estate Solutions.
