NTT Data is building another N. Texas data center, this one in Plano on Lookout Drive, just east of Telecom Parkway. It’ll be call TX4, the fourth such NTT data center at the Garland campus in Texas. The facility will cover 236,000 square feet. The company plans to allow client access to cloud services like Megaport at the facility.

The facility’s cost is estimated to be $42 million, and its completion date is 2026. Work is expected to begin this fall. Dallas-based Corgan Associates is leading the design effort.

NTT has seven campuses nationwide. TX4 will be the states 102nd data center. Dallas has become a popular location for data centers, mainly due to the availability of reasonable price power and a limited number of natural disasters.
