Devon Self Storage Assumes Management of Facility Near Graceland

Oak Brook-based Devon Self Storage, a member of The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, Inc., has assumed the property management of a self-storage property located in Memphis, Tennessee.

The two-story facility, located at 1215 East Shelby Drive and owned by Global Memphis Shelby, LLC, is comprised of 1,146 climate-controlled units and 104,873 rentable square feet. The property also features convenient loading and unloading areas, 24-hour video surveillance and access systems, a variety of storage sizes and is accessible via in-store or online contactless rentals.

“We’re thrilled to assume management of this Class A facility in South Memphis,” said Justin Funcell, director of third-party management for Devon. “With strong visibility, high traffic counts and growing demand, we believe this location is well-positioned for long-term success. This opportunity strengthens the continued growth of our third-party management platform and Devon’s presence in the Memphis market.” Devon currently manages 188 properties with a footprint in 31 states across the country.
