Devon Assumes Management of Cedar Rapids Self-Storage Facility

Devon Self Storage, a member of The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, Inc., has assumed property management for a self-storage facility in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The two-story facility, located at 2100 Edgewood Rd SW in Cedar Rapids, opened in 2017. The 86,700 rentable-square-foot facility is comprised of 783 climate-controlled units and features a drive-through loading bay with a truck-height door, contactless in-store and online rentals. “We’re pleased to expand our third-party management presence in Cedar Rapids with this Class A property,” said Justin Funcell, director of third-party management for Devon.

The facility is situated along Edgewood Road SW, a heavily traveled corridor surrounded by established retail and commercial destinations. Its proximity to local colleges, including Kirkwood Community College, Coe College, and Mount Mercy University, further strengthens year-round visibility. Devon currently manages 210 properties with a footprint in 32 states across the country.
