Development Underway on 55-Plus Chambers Creek Ranch

Caldwell Communities began work on Chambers Creek Ranch, a 1,200-acre master-planned, active-adult community in Willis, TX, north of Houston. The development is anticipated to take approximately 12 to 15 years to build out, and upon completion, will contain 3,000 homes.

The development is northwest of Interstate 45 and FM 1097, between Longstreet and Calvary Roads. The project will also offer various amenities, including a wellness and fitness center, a resident clubhouse, golf course (designed by Tom Lehman) and hike-and-bike trails.

Housing prices will range from the $200,000s to more than $1 million. Caldwell is interviewing active-adult builders from around the country. A grand opening is scheduled for 2020.
