Development Site Up for Sale Adjacent to Lincoln Yards

Anixter Center selected Cushman & Wakefield to market 2032 N. Clybourn Ave., one of the largest parcels in Lincoln Park, adjacent to Sterling Bay’s Lincoln Yards mixed-use project. A team of Eric Sorensen, Kathleen Nelson, Dirk Riekse and Larry Goldwasser will market the 140,000-square-foot building, formerly the headquarters of the nonprofit Anixter Center, and adjacent parcel totaling nearly two acres.

“This property will have tremendous appeal to the development community, given it’s not a north-end or south-end to Lincoln Yards but a doorway to this landmark redevelopment,” said Sorensen. “The combination of being one of the largest and most well-located parcels near the CBD and adjacent to a billion-dollar mixed-use development just heightens its value.”

The sale of 2032 N. Clybourn will help fund more professional staff, more resources and more housing for developmentally disabled Chicagoans supported by Anixter Center programs.
