Development of 24-Story Tower Envisioned for Portland West End Site

Early Bird Alert: Connect Apartments is planned for September 28th in Los Angeles. Here’s where to get more information and register.

Downtown Development Group plans to develop Eleven West, a 24-story, mixed-use apartment project in downtown Portland, OR. The half-block site, along Washington Street between 11th and 12th avenues, is one of the last remaining vacant lots in the burgeoning West End District.

The 225-unit apartment tower will be accompanied by 110,000 square feet of office space, ground-floor retail and four levels of subterranean parking. Eleven West will also feature an eighth-level outdoor swimming pool that cantilevers over the adjacent building, 150 feet in the air, as well as a rooftop deck with a chef’s kitchen for events.

The project is anticipated to deliver in 2020. It is a sister tower to Twelve West (pictured above), a project that features an eco-roof, rooftop garden and terrace space, complete fitness studio and a theatre, as well as the first installation of a wind turbine array on an urban, high-rise in the U.S.
