Development, Construction Veteran Joins Trinity Place
Charles Gans has joined Trinity Place Holdings as SVP after rising through the ranks at the New York City Economic Development Corporation. For Trinity Place, Gans will primarily oversee the development and construction of 77 Greenwich St., a new 300,000 square foot mixed-use building in Lower Manhattan that will feature residential condominiums and a public school.
As an EVP with NYCEDC’s real estate transactions department, Gans closed over $3 billion in transactions. Before joining NYCEDC, he spent six years at Bovis Lend Lease, serving as construction manager on more than 1.25 million square feet of ground-up projects.
“Charles is a tremendous addition and asset to our leadership team,” said Matthew Messinger, Trinity Place’s president and CEO. “His wealth of construction, development and public-private partnership knowledge and experience in the New York metro market will serve to ensure that our vision for 77 Greenwich and other projects are realized.”
