Developers Unveil Multibillion-Dollar Akimel 7

CamCo Commercial Inc. is teaming with the Solanna Group LLC to form Akimel 7 Productions. The joint venture’s purpose is to strike a land lease arrangement and develop Akimel 7, a multibillion-dollar sports and new media entertainment destination on Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community Land in Scottsdale, AZ.

Situated on 125 acres at Loops 101 and 202, Akimel 7 will include film production studios and a virtual reality immersion theme park, along with sustainable electricity generation from solar power grids. The joint venture will begin construction within the next two years on the land, which is owned by Solanna Group, a native American family-owned real estate investment company. The project is located in a qualified Opportunity Zone.
