Developers Team Up Again, Launch $300M Residential Tower in Los Angeles

Ground has been broken on a $300-million residential tower in Los Angeles’ Koreatown. Located at 2900 Wilshire Blvd., the 25-story development is being led by a team that includes Hankey Investment Company, LP and Jamison Properties, LP., which recently completed the $500-million CIRCA mixed-use development in DTLA.

Hankey Investment Company’s W. Scott Dobbins says, “As Koreatown’s housing market continues to flourish, 2900 Wilshire provides a golden opportunity to revive an otherwise long-time vacant site, bringing much needed housing to the community.”

The curved structure will contain 644 residences wrapped around a 1,000-space parking podium. Apartments will range from studios to three-bedroom, two story penthouses.

A one-acre rooftop park amenity deck will sit atop the podium, providing resort-style living. There will be separate buildings for a gym and clubhouse, along with a pool, spa, business center, private open-air dining areas, BBQs, firepits, a dog park, a Zen garden and a viewing deck.
