Developers Readying for 750-Acre Northstar MPC

Developers are readying to launch Northstar, a master-planned community in the northwest Fort Worth area. Upon buildout, the development, situated just west of Haslet, TX, will have 2,200 single-family homes. The first 410 lots are expected to be available for homebuilding by the end of 2019, with home prices starting in the low $200,000s.

The development will have an on-site elementary school, and amenities that include pools, playgrounds, nature trails and an indoor recreational facility.

Northstar will be the second MPC development of Lackland Holdings LLC, which is led by Kim Gill and Tim Fleet. The developers are currently at work with Morningstar, a 732-acre, 2,300-home community in Aledo, TX, west of Fort Worth. The Morningstar development includes an indoor amenity center, two pools, a splash pad, playground and soccer field. At this point, 832 lots are on the ground, with 420 homes built.
