Developer Readies for SOJO Commons Construction Launch

SOJO Urban Development, which is putting the finishing touches on its SOJO Crossing on Myrtle Street in San Antonio, is getting ready to go north on another townhome development. The new project, SOJO Commons, will be built on 1.3 acres at 743 E. Locust St. The 27-unit asset is going north near Pearl, close to San Antonio’s CBD.

G.W. Mitchell of San Antonio is the general contractor. Alamo Architects, also locally-headquartered, is the project’s designer. The units are scheduled for completion in early 2019.

The development is going north at a $12 million price tag, and will offer three-story units containing three bedrooms and second and third-floor balconies. Some of the units will have their own elevators. Floor plans will range from 1,923 to 3,017 square feet, with prices starting at $500,000.
