Developer Proposes Office Tower in Downtown San Jose
J.P. DiNapoli Cos. has proposed a 19-story plus mezzanine level office tower at 200 Park Ave. in San Jose. The site at Park Avenue and South Almaden Boulevard is near downtown San Jose’s Tech Museum of Innovation and Center for the Performing Arts in an emerging cultural district undergoing transformation.
The 740,000-square-foot project is one of several envisioned to connect the downtown core to the proposed Google Village and the Diridon train station. The developer plans to include an activated ground-level space and paseo along Park Avenue to help make connections to the surrounding areas.
J.P. DiNapoli’s J.P. DiNapoli told the San Jose Mercury News, “We hope that this project will help create an active connection that goes all the way from San Jose State University to the Guadalupe River.”
