Developer Plans 80-Acre Multi-Phased Industrial Project on West Valley Golf Course

Developer KW Projects submitted plans to develop nearly 80 acres of land at Camelback Road and 152nd Avenue near Luke Air Force Base. The roughly 157-acre site currently houses the Falcon Golf Club and is on unincorporated Maricopa County land, though nearby cities such as Goodyear and Litchfield Park are weighing in on the proposed project. The county’s planning and zoning commission is reviewing the proposed development on April 23.

Plans include a two-phase industrial cross-dock truck facility totaling 245,730 square feet, roughly 1,500 parking spaces for trucks, vans and trailers, as well as 683 spaces for employee parking.

The second phase of the development is envisioned to encompass the southern portion of the golf course, though plans for that component of the project have not yet been submitted. The proposed project is slated for review by the county’s Board of Supervisors on May 6.
