Developer Group Eyeing 2M-SF Ft. Worth Mixed-Use Project
A team of veteran developers is working together on a project that would add offices, apartments, retail, and hotels to the Cultural District of Fort Worth. Westside Real Estate Investors, a partnership between The Keystone Group and Larkspur Capital, are in on it. Representatives of the team will push for their $850 million project in front of the Fort Worth Zoning Commission next week. The zoning request, for 11 acres, is to switch from industrial to mixed-use. The group, along with Autobahn Realty Partners owns 35 acres in total. Plans have not been disclosed for the other 24 acres.
The project would involve 2 million square feet across five tracts of land, with a large part of it being the former Fort Worth Independent School District administration building at 100 University Dr. The school district sold the property to Westside for $5 million. The building is in the process of being razed.
