Developer Greatland Has Sights on the Heights
Greatland Investments Inc. will launch a retail redevelopment project in Q1 2018 on a site in northwest-central Houston. The 0.3-acre tract at 3215 White Oak Dr. is one of the largest sites zoned for new development in the Heights Historic District South.
The acreage currently holds a car wash, a four-plex multifamily rental and one single-family home. Once leases expire at the end of 2017, Greatland Investments will begin its 4,000-square-foot, Class A retail development. The location has direct access to the Heights Hike & Bike Trail, a 6.8-mile paved path leading to the city center and University of Houston’s downtown campus.
NewQuest Properties’ Austen Baldridge and John Nguyen are handling leasing for the project. The duo is currently negotiating with a company introducing a new coffee concept.
