Developer Eyeing Roanoke for 293-Unit Rental Community

DFW residents are looking more seriously at towns over a half hour from the city cores of Dallas or Fort Worth. Leeds Residential is heading up a luxury apartment development in Roanoke. Roanoke, about 22 miles north of Fort Worth, is experiencing its own growth. In July, the city announced a 122-acre youth sports complex. The town’s population is closing in on 10,000.

Construction on the 293-unit, nearly 250,000 square foot apartment complex is estimated to begin on December 15 and finish in October 2026. Randall Kiespert LLC is the design firm for the project, which has an estimated price tag of $50 million.

Leeds Residential redeveloped an office site into 183 luxury apartments and 8,500 square feet of retail space in Far North Dallas in a development called Bent Tree Flats.
