New York-based engineering firm DeSimone Consulting Engineering has announced the acquisition of DP Squared Ltd, a structural engineering company based in Hebden Bridge, England. With the acquisition, DP Squared will operate as DeSimone Consulting Engineering UK from its current office in Hebden Bridge. 

Launched in 2004, DP Squared designed five out of six of Manchester’s tallest buildings. The firm’s portfolio includes the 66-story Deansgate Square Tower, the tallest building in the UK outside of London. Additionally, DP Squared has worked on more than 800 projects, ranging from refurbishing listed buildings to transformative infrastructure projects.
