DeRose & Appelbaum Adds Two Partners, Retail Brokerage Rebrands as Maven
DeRose & Appelbaum, a San Francisco-based retail brokerage and advisory firm, added Pam Mendelsohn and Sarah Brett Schwartz as Partners. The firm is also rebranding itself as Maven. The changes position the company for continued expansion of its core retail business, while also growing its office and industrial sector portfolios, notes Santino DeRose, co-founder of the firm (pictured above with Mendelsohn).
The power duo merged their respective successful retail backgrounds over the past decade. They join after most- recently serving at Cushman & Wakefield
The pair has transformed neighborhood shopping districts and reshaped iconic corridors from Jackson Square and Fillmore Street to the Valencia/Mission District and Union Square. That encompasses deals with such fashion and design brands as Isabel Marant, Parachute Home, Veronica Beard, and Tory Burch, and nationally-recognized restaurants such as State Bird Provisions, Angler, Souvla, Saison, and Noosh.
