Dermody Will Re-Lease Newly Acquired Libertyville Industrial

Dermody Properties recently acquired a 596,616-square-foot logistics building at 1501 Harris Rd. in Libertyville, IL. Deal terms weren’t disclosed.

The building was constructed in 2007 on 35 acres along Interstate 94 at the intersection of Peterson and Midlothian roads in the Lake County submarket.

“One of the many advantages of this property is that it’s hard to find a large building so close to the Chicago population base,” said Elizabeth Kauchak, COO at Reno, NV-based Dermody.

She added, “1501 Harris Rd. is an asset ideal for our e-commerce, distribution and warehouse customers, offering the ability to reach local, regional, and national markets.”

The property is currently occupied but will be available for lease in the first quarter of 2022. Cushman & Wakefield’s Keith Puritz, Brett Kroner and Eric Fischer will represent Dermody in re-leasing 1501 Harris.
