Dermody Buys Semiconductor Facility in Fremont
Reno-based Dermody Properties acquired Fremont Industrial Center, an 81,704-square-foot advanced manufacturing facility in Fremont, CA for $10.25 million. The buyer is a private investor, which public records list as Pantronix’ Stanley Wang and his wife, Franny. The building, which is the longtime Pantronix HQ, will be sold and leased back by the semiconductor company.
Dermody Properties’ George Condon says, “As we continue to grow our portfolio throughout Northern California, the Bay Area is a key market for Dermody Properties. “We are excited to acquire an advanced manufacturing building fronting I-880.”
Located at 2710 Lakeview Ct., the asset sits on nearly five acres in Fremont’s Innovation District near Tesla’s operations. The facility features modern office space, loading for advanced manufacturing users and four parking spaces per 1,000 square feet. Planned improvements include a new roof, interior renovations and HVAC upgrades.
JLL’s Eddie Shuai and Steven Chon represented both parties in the transaction.
