Dermody Acquires 778K-SF Seattle-Area Industrial Park, Development Site

Dermody Properties acquired the Meridian Campus Corporate Park in Lacey, WA, just south of Seattle, from the California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS). The industrial park consists of three buildings totaling 459,551 square feet, and 18 acres of land where Dermody plans to develop a new distribution building.

The property is located immediately off of Interstate 5 in the Thurston County submarket of Puget Sound’s industrial market. The new facility will total 318,028 square feet and will feature 36-foot clear height and 80 trailer parking stalls. Construction is expected to begin in November 2017.

The three existing buildings include a 130,525-square-foot building at 9107 Polaris Lane, another 130,525-square-foot building at 9127 Polaris Lane and a 198,501-square-foot facility at 9225 Polaris Lane. All three buildings are Class A, LEED Gold facilities and feature 30-foot clear heights.

CBRE’s Monte Decker and Andrew Hitchcock are handling the leasing assignment.
