Denver’s Centerpoint Towers Sell for $62M

Unico has sold Denver’s Centerpoint I and II to Bahrain-based investment firm Investcorp for $62 million. The buildings, at 3900 E. Mexico Ave. and 1777 S. Harrison St., total 373,000 square feet.

Centerpoint I is the smaller tower, at 14 stories and 168,000 square feet. Unico bought Centerpoint I in 2012 for $11.75 million. The tower sold for $29 million. Meanwhile Centerpoint II, which has 17 stories and 205,000 square feet, sold for $32.7 million. Unico acquired the building in 2006 for $26.3 million. The buildings are 90% leased, with tenants including Icon Lasik, Tuff Shed, Your Castle Real Estate and Smash Burger.
