Denver Building $80M affordable housing community

Denver Building All-in-One Multifamily Community

The long-awaited Montbello Freshlo Hub development has started work. The first phase, an $85 million development will include a six-story affordable housing building with a total of 97 units, ranging from one to three bedrooms. The building will target residents with 30% of the area median income on one spectrum, as well as residents making between 50% to 70% on the other end of the spectrum. $50 million will be budgeted for the multifamily community. The rest will go toward building a mental health center, retail and office space on the first floor. 

There will be an attached grocery store. The Daily Table, which will operate a store focused on delivering nutritious food and produce to nearby residents. Phase 1 should wrap up in 2024.

This second phase will include a two-story arts and education center up to 17,900 square feet in size. The building will also feature a rooftop performance space.
