Five condo garage projects on way to Denver

Denver Builder to Construct Five Condo-Garage Projects

Condo garages are popping up all over the country. The new industrial concept is usually built in the standard business park, but instead of having one significant tenant in a large warehouse, the developer has split it up into dozens of units, often around 1,200 square feet each.

The Denver Business Journal reports that Denver-based real estate firm Connect Properties is currently under construction on one such project: an $11 million development at 1001 Depot Hill Road in Broomfield. The development consists of 33 units with roll-up garage doors across three buildings that hobbyists or small business owners who need extra space can purchase. Interested parties include car enthusiasts, dog groomers and Sprinter Van outfitters. With Connect selling units for $325 per square foot, the average 1,200-square-foot unit are selling for $390,000 apiece.

Connect Properties is planning to develop more condo garages in the future, particularly in parts of Aurora, Loveland, Fort Collins and Castle Rock.
