Denver Broncos Reveal Plans for New Stadium Site

A few months ago, the Denver Broncos revealed that they had chosen Burnham Yard as their new stadium site. The team has now released renderings of what the site will look like once the one-time rail yard is converted into a mixed-use development. Below, the 58-acre former turntable at the former railyard sits at the center of what could total up to 150 acres of development.

Since the Walton-Penner group purchased the team in 2022, the Broncos have contemplated building a new, retractable-roof stadium and a surrounding entertainment district. The goal is to open the new stadium and part of the entertainment district by 2031.

Tryba Architects is the designer for the master planned neighborhood around the stadium, while Manica will design the stadium itself.

The renderings offer a previously unseen look at what that entertainment district could look like.
