Denver-Area Logistics Tenant Leases 1.1M-SF
Third-party logistics firm Broadrange has signed a long-term lease for 1.1 million square feet at Colorado’s 76 Commerce Center. CBRE, which represented the landlords and tenant, reports that it’s the largest speculative lease ever completed in Colorado.
Mortenson Properties and Hyde Development developed the 155-acre site adjacent to the I-76 frontage road in Brighton. Four buildings total 1.7 million square feet.
Broadrange, which is taking up two of the four buildings, specializes in servicing the green energy sector. A portion of this property will be used for distributing solar panel components. This is the company’s first Colorado location, and they plan to occupy the space starting in September 2024.
Todd Witty and Daniel Close of CBRE represented the landlords, Hyde Development and their equity partner Mortenson Properties, Inc., in the transaction. Sam Dragan and Jim Bolt of CBRE represented the tenant in partnership with Atlanta-based Strategic Real Estate Partners.
