Deloitte decided to remain at Heritage Plaza. To that end, the accounting firm renewed its lease in the downtown Houston building, which is owned by Brookfield Properties. Deloitte has operated out of the building at 1111 Bagby since 2007.

The new agreement has the tenant leasing 204,210 square feet from floors 39-45. Deloitte will also renovate the office space, including an upgrade of common areas, conferencing rooms and technology. Renovations are expected to begin in summer 2019, and conclude in late 2020. Clint Bawcom and Jon Dutton with Brookfield Properties self-represented the landlord in the transaction.

The 53-story, 1.8-million-square-foot Heritage Plaza delivered in 1987. The asset is adjacent to Brookfield’s Allen Center complex.
