Del Frisco Extends Rock Center Lease for 20 Years
Rockefeller Group has announced that Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse has renewed its lease for an additional 20 years at 1221 Avenue of Americas in Rockefeller Center.
The 25,246-square-foot location, which has been in the building since 1998, will extend its presence in Manhattan until 2045. The restaurant sits above the building’s privately owned public plaza, which was upgraded in 2022 through a $50 million renovation.
“Del Frisco’s is one of the best steakhouses in America, and it’s cemented itself as an institution in New York City – a staple of the Manhattan culinary scene,” said Bill Edwards, executive vice president and head of Core Holdings for Rockefeller Group. “We’re so pleased to continue this partnership at 1221, and to help bring this extraordinary dining experience to tenants, visitors and the greater community for many years to come.”
