
Defense Tech Co Leases 180K SF in Atlanta, Plans $60M Manufacturing Facility
Jamestown has completed negotiations with Anduril Industries for the latter to lease 180,000 square feet at Allied Studios, a three-building property in Atlanta, GA. The defense technology company will invest $60 million into a new manufacturing and research facility at the property and is expected to create 180 jobs.
Capital Real Estate Group represented Jamestown in the transaction. Hughes Marino represented Anduril.
The space, located at 1435 Hills Place, will be home to Area-I, a Anduril-owned manufacturer of advanced unmanned aircraft systems. When complete, the facility will include office, R&D, manufacturing and production space across two buildings.
Atlanta- and Cologne, Germany-based Jamestown has assets under management of $13.2 in the US, Latin America and Europe. Projects include One Times Square and Chelsea Market in New York, Industry City in Brooklyn, Ponce City Market in Atlanta, Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco, the Innovation and Design Building in Boston and Groot Handelsgebouw in Rotterdam.
