Deerfield Beach Lands $41M Emergency Services Center
Holy Cross Health recently started work on a Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) at 340 S. Federal Hwy in Deerfield Beach. The new 25,000-square foot, $41 million facility is hoped to reduce wait times and improve health outcomes by delivering immediate emergency services.
The FSED will feature cutting-edge medical technology and a patient-centered design to meet the immediate healthcare needs of the community while also being adaptable to future growth and demand in the area.
With a projected completion date of February 2026, the facility will include:
- Clinical exam rooms,
- Comprehensive emergency services, including advanced diagnostic imaging (X-ray, ultrasound, CT scanning) and a fully functional on-site laboratory
- A dedicated ambulance bay for fast and efficient emergency response
- Private treatment rooms designed to prioritize patient comfort
- 24/7 availability to ensure continuous access to emergency healthcare services
