Deegan Joins Affordable Team at Hunt Mortgage

Kevin Deegan has joined Hunt Mortgage Group’s affordable housing/FHA group as director. While the New York-based Deegan will focus on originating and closing affordable and FHA multifamily loans nationwide, he’ll also offer the firm’s balance sheet products and agency executions to clients.

“Kevin is a veteran industry executive with extensive experience in all facets of the affordable housing industry, and a solid track record of success,” said senior managing director Paul Weissman. “We are actively working to build our affordable and FHA platform nationwide, and are confident Kevin will play a key role in helping us continue to expand this already strong platform.”

Before joining Hunt Mortgage, Deegan was director, real estate advisory services at National Valuation Consultants. Prior to that, the 25-year veteran held positions with Harmony Housing/Greystone & Co. and Centerline Capital Group.
