Debt-Resolution Service Will Relocate to 180 Maiden Lane

180 Maiden Lane, formerly home to insurer AIG, has landed a tenant on another side of the financial services spectrum: National Debt Relief. A spokeswoman for owners MHP Realty Services and Clarion Partners confirmed a Wall Street Journal report that the consumer debt-resolution service had signed a lease for 95,000 square feet at the 1.2-million-square-foot Lower Manhattan office tower.

The WSJ reported that National Debt Relief, currently housing some 900 employees at nearby 11 Broadway, was drawn to 180 Maiden’s location, capacity for technology requirements and amenities including a conference facility and new cafeteria.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Tara Stacom brokered the deal on behalf of MHP and Clarion. The new tenant plans to move into its new space, occupying three floors at 180 Maiden, by the end of the year.
