Dean Zander Leaves Berkadia for CBRE

Veteran multifamily investment leader Dean Zander has taken a key role within CBRE Capital Markets business unit. Zander spent nearly 19 years at Berkadia, and most recently served as a senior managing director, one of only a handful nationally.

Zander says he plans to leverage the global scale of CBRE to “attract capital to our Southern California apartment market, utilize the strength of the platform to service my clients, and leverage off the deep relationships in the investment, servicing, and debt disciplines within CBRE Capital Markets.”

During his three decades in the industry he’s closed nearly $5 billion in sales, and annually ranked among Berkadia’s top 5% agents companywide. Zander was the first California partner of Hendricks & Partners, which was folded into Berkadia in December 2012.

About Dennis Kaiser

Dennis Kaiser is Vice President of Public Relations and Communications for Connect Creative. Dennis has also worked on communications and launch strategies for a number of consumer electronic, media and tech brands including SlingMedia, Channel Master, Deluxe Media Entertainment, BeIn Sports, EchoStar and Sprint. Dennis’s agency background included firms such as Off Madison Ave., Idea Hall and Macy + Associates. He has earned an outstanding reputation with organization leaders as a trusted advisor, strategic program implementer, consensus builder and exceptional collaborator. Dennis has developed and managed national communications programs for Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, both public and private.
