Fredericksburg picked by DC partners for mixed-use project

DC Partners Eyeing Fredericksburg for Mixed-Use Project

DC Partners is planning a 22-acre mixed-use development in Fredericksburg. It will include retail and will be anchored by a hotel. The Meuse will sit adjacent to the city’s historic Klingelhoeffer House just east of the Highway 290 and Main Street intersection. Ground is expected to break this spring.

The Austin Business Journal reports the project targets 73,200 square feet of destination retail, restaurants and tasting rooms. The hotel will be of the luxury boutique variety. No name or flag has yet to be determined. Colliers Houston’s Wade Green and Hannah Schiro are handling retail leasing. Fredericksburg Convention and Visitors Bureau CEO Brady Closson said the project aligns with the city’s goal to boost midweek tourism.

Construction is slated to finish by the end of 2027. Dallas-based Merriman Anderson Architects Inc. is leading the complex’s design. The hotel’s interior designer is Chicago-based Curioso. Satterfield & Pontikes is the construction manager.
