DC Blox Building 750K SF Conyers Data Center
Datacenters don’t create many jobs. And while data centers receive generous sales and equipment tax breaks in Georgia, they still create enough property tax dollars to make them a big catch for a region’s economic development authority.
DC Blox is planning a 750,000-square-foot data center campus in Rockdale County. The company is proposing three buildings in Conyers. DC Blox acquired 72 acres for the Conyers project, located about 24 miles east of Downtown Atlanta. The company says the campus will require 216 megawatts of power, which has been committed by Georgia Power.
DC Blox said it has a hyperscale client anchoring the first phase but did not disclose the tenant.
