Dayton Street Partners to Develop 180K-SF Distribution Center in Metro Atlanta
Chicago-based commercial real estate developer, Dayton Street Partners has acquired a 12-acre site in Atlanta’s Airport submarket for the development of Rock Hill Distribution Center, a 180,300-square-foot industrial facility. The sales price and seller were not disclosed.
The site represents one of the last developable sites in the submarket as well as an opportunity to develop a distribution center that caters to the requirements of today’s users, including 32-foot clear building heights, a high dock door count and an ESFR sprinkler system, requirements that are featured in less than 9% of the buildings in the Airport Submarket.
Dayton Street Partners has broken ground on the new facility with an anticipated delivery date of the third quarter of 2021. Mike Sutter and Rick Tumlin of Lee & Associates Atlanta provided advisory services to Dayton Street Partners in the transaction.
