Daycare Center Comes to Thor Equities’ 180 Livingston

Thor Equities Group has leased 9,000 square feet at 180 Livingston St. in downtown Brooklyn to Tiny Steps.  The child daycare center inked a long-term deal for ground floor space in the Class A office and retail property.

Additional tenants in the six-story, 257,000-square-foot 180 Livingston include Hellen Keller Services for the Blind, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and Dallas BBQ on the ground level.  HKS signed a 30-year lease for 46,000 square feet of office space in 2017.

“180 Livingston is the ideal home for Tiny Steps, due to the building’s central location and proximity to multiple transportation options,” said Thor Equities chairman Joseph Sitt.

Running through to Schermerhorn Street, between Smith and Hoyt streets, the property is within a short walk from 13 subway lines, 16 bus lines and the Long Island Rail Road. It’s also close to Brooklyn Bridge Park and the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway.
