DaVita Kidney Opening in Mercedes Light Industrial Park

DaVita Kidney Care will be the first company to open in the Mercedes Light Industrial Park, a business park at Expressway (U.S.) 83/West Interstate 3 and Corporation Way in the Rio Grande Valley city of Mercedes, TX. The dialysis center operator is building an 8,967-square-foot facility, and will be the first to open in the park’s first phase.

The building, situated on one acre, is scheduled for a December 2018 opening. DaVita is planning to hire approximately 20 employees for the property.

The Development Corporation of Mercedes, which owns and operates the park, indicated that a second business will be taking space, and could employ approximately 300. The DCM has five, five-acre lots available in the park’s first phase, with prices ranging from $170,000-$200,000.
