DaVita Kidney Expands to New East Texas Space

DaVita Kidney Care of Longview, TX left its long-time location near the CBD, moving to 3110 H.G. Mosely Pkwy. The new 23,500-square-foot space is approximately 8,000 square feet more than it had at its former location at 425 N. Fredonia St.; the dialysis specialists had been there since 1996. The landlord of the new property is listed as R.V.W. Properties LLC of Longview.

Before moving in, DaVita completely gutted the building, and added new flooring and a new water system, which removes aluminum, magnesium and chlorine from the city’s drinking water. The new location offers 38 stations where patients undergo dialysis, three more than it had at Fredonia Street. Wier Enterprises renovated the space at an approximate cost of $1.5 million.
