Davis Wright Tremaine Expands Office Space in Downtown Portland
Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, a national law firm with a century-long presence in Portland, had previously leased space on Block 216’s seventh floor and is now planning to lease the entire floor.
Opened in 2023, Block 216, now the fourth-tallest building in Portland, is home to the city’s first five-star hotel, The Ritz-Carlton. The Ritz-Carlton features 251 guest rooms and world-class dining, spa, pool, ballroom, meeting rooms and fitness facilities. Block 216 is also home to additional retailers, office tenants and the soon-to-open Flock food gallery.
Walter Bowen, BPM’s CEO and Chairman, built Block 216 with the goal of returning downtown Portland to its former vibrancy. “It is wonderful that Davis Wright Tremaine is expanding their lease, bringing more professionals to Downtown Portland.”
