Davis Cos. Taps Tanya Mitchell as Director of HR
The Davis Cos. has hired Tanya Mitchell as director of human resources and DEI initiatives. Mitchell is a former Massachusetts Port Authority administrator and worked with the firm in its diversity efforts at the Omni Boston hotel project in the Seaport, securing 37 minority investors and a diverse joint venture partnership.
Mitchell spent eight years at the Port Authority and recently served as the agency’s acting D&I and compliance real estate project administrator. Prior to joining Massport, Mitchell was the certification specialist for the Federal Aviation Administration’s Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Certification Program. Mitchell holds a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
