Davis Companies Names Equity Capital Markets Lead

The Davis Companies, headquartered in Boston, announced the appointment of Douglas Doughty as managing director of equity capital markets. Based in Davis’ New York City Office, Doughty will work working closely with the company’s Investor Relations, Investments and senior leadership team headed by CEO Stephen Davis.

“Doug joins Davis at an exciting point in the firm’s growth – as we celebrate 50 years of operations and continue building on the momentum across our investment and operating platforms,” said Quentin Reynolds, president and CIO at Davis. “His deep experience expanding global investor relationships, leading institutional business development and shaping real estate investment strategy will be invaluable as we strengthen our capital formation capabilities and continue growing our national platform.”

Doughty will report to Reynolds and work closely with the firm’s broader leadership team. Since launching commingled real estate funds in 2009, Davis has raised approximately $3 billion in equity across five value-added funds.
