David Jewkes Joins Avison Young to Lead Las Vegas

Avison Young expanded its Western leadership team with the addition of David Jewkes, who assumes the reins of the brokerage firm’s Las Vegas office. Jewkes, who joins from Cushman & Wakefield, brings more than 25 years of CRE management and transaction experience to the role.

Avison Young’s Mark E. Rose says Jewkes’ extensive strategic client services expertise in all sectors of CRE, and thoughtful approach, “will complement Avison Young’s collaborative culture. David has a sterling reputation as an advisor to institutional and regional investors and is known for his business development acumen, having successfully grown asset services portfolios and attracted top transactional professionals in his prior roles.”

Previously, Jewkes created and managed Cushman & Wakefield’s entire investor services portfolio, which spanned Las Vegas and Reno. The 5.6-million-square-foot portfolio included the 1.65-million-square-foot Northgate Industrial Center in North Las Vegas, where Amazon’s 900,000-square-foot western distribution center is located.
