Dattner Architects Relocates Headquarters to 498 Seventh Ave.

The ownership of 498 Seventh Ave., led by George Comfort & Sons, has signed a new 30,000-square-foot lease with design firm Dattner Architects at the repositioned 25-story office tower in Midtown Manhattan. Dattner Architects will occupy 498 Seventh’s entire 20th floor when the firm relocates its headquarters from 1385 Broadway in the fourth quarter.

“In the current market environment, workspace design, safety and efficiency are more critical than ever,” said George Comfort & Sons president and CEO Peter S. Duncan. “The folks at Dattner have a particular expertise in these areas, and we take pride that such a world-class firm in the architecture and design field felt comfortable and confident in choosing 498 Seventh Avenue for their new headquarters.”

Dattner Architects was represented by Robert Frost and Andy Weiss of Signature Partners LLC. Ownership was represented in-house by George Comfort & Sons’ Andrew Conrad and Matt Coudert.
