Databricks Expands Again in Bay Area with 305K-SF Sunnyvale Lease

Big-data analytics firm Databricks is expanding its Bay Area office presence again, leasing a full building of 305,000 square feet at 200 Washington within Hunter Partners’ Cityline Sunnyvale mixed-use development. The company signed a 150,000-square-foot lease in San Francisco for its global headquarters earlier this year and also has occupied an office in Mountain View since 2020.

“After years of planning Cityline Sunnyvale’s master plan to reposition downtown, it is gratifying to have an AI powerhouse like Databricks, representing the most dynamic sector in technology today, choose 200 Washington as their primary Silicon Valley outpost,” said Curtis Leigh, principal and partner at Hunter Partners.

The lease was negotiated by Vincent Scott, Michael Benevento, and Rochelle Imani of CBRE San Jose on behalf of Hunter Partners. The JLL team of Arnand Tiano and Andy Hueser represented Databricks. Occupancy is expected for late 2026, following buildout of the Sunnyvale space.
