Paramount Rejects Monarch Alternative’s "Opportunistic" Unsolicited Bid

Database Software Platform Takes 106K SF at Manhattan Tower

Paramount Group, Inc. executed a two-floor lease with MongoDB at 1633 Broadway, a 48-story trophy office tower located between 50th and 51st Streets in Midtown Manhattan. The database software platform company will relocate and expand its corporate HQ into 106,230 square feet on the 37th and 38th floors with an initial lease term of 12 years. The signing brings building occupancy to more than 95%.

Paramount Group’s Albert Behler says, “The successful execution of this deal with MongoDB is a testament to the appeal of 1633 Broadway and our ability to cater to smart, creative and growing tenants in the technology industry, who appreciate the unparalleled large floorplates and unique infrastructure offered in a first class location.”

1633 Broadway is home to a number of diverse companies, with TAMI tenants comprising nearly 40% of occupancy. The property’s roster includes Allianz, Morgan Stanley, Warner Music Group, Showtime Networks and Bleacher Report.
