Data Center Tech Firm Expands to Arizona’s SkySong

Price, Utah-based IE Corporation (IE) signed a lease for a 2,336-square-foot office space in SkySong 2 in Scottsdale. The space is one of several ready-to-occupy spec suites at the 42-acre mixed-use project being developed by Plaza Companies.

Plaza Companies’ Sharon Harper says, “IE Corporation is at the forefront of innovative data center technology engineering and manufacturing, and they are exactly the type of company we welcome as part of SkySong.”

IE is a leader in the engineering and manufacturing of data center technology, including power distribution skids, generator enclosures, tanks and packaging, electric switchgear, packaging and integration and chilled water pump packages. IE has manufacturing and operation locations in Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Illinois and Ohio. The company recently purchased Baselayer, a modular data center and software company, which will be relocating to the SkySong office.

JLL’s Jason Moore represented the tenant. Lee & Associates’ Coppola Cheney Group advised the property ownership group.
