Data Center Supplier Eyeing $80M FW Factory

Stellar Energy Americas Inc. is considering opening an $80 million factory for cooling equipment used in data centers and other settings within a roughly 1.1 million-square-foot building at 15060 Blue Mound Road in Fort Worth. The Dallas Business Journal reports that the address matches that of Alliance Westport 24, the latest spec building at Hillwood’s 27,000-acre AllianceTexas development. (photo courtesy of Ft. Worth Report).

Stellar Energy produces turbine inlet air chilling systems for power and liquefied natural gas companies, as well as modular cooling systems for data centers.

Fort Worth City Council will consider tax breaks for the company, which is weighing investing an estimated $34 million in real property improvements and $45.5 million in equipment.

DFW accounted for about one-tenth of the U.S. data center market, second to Northern Virginia, according to a 2024 CBRE report.
